I am a growing lover of learning.
An authentic listener. A genuine student. An ecstatic world traveler.
After growing up mainly in rural Illinois I transplanted to my true home in the Mountains of Colorado in 2011. I received degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Music from Regis University in Denver Colorado. I have found a calling to work in the field of mental health and have worked with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of mental, emotional, and social problems. After traveling and working a number of different jobs in the mental health, I currently work at Open Sky Wilderness Therapy as a Field Guide.
In my spare time I adventure in the mountains as much as possible—skiing, climbing, through hiking, backpacking, trail running—, partner dance late into the nights, play the piano, and work on creating community. I also am a survivor of an eating disorder; I am in full and continued recovery from anorexia nervosa.
